We (FINALLY) did it! I’m so excited to announce that What Comes Next, my debut feature film as a writer/director, has received a commitment letter from Telefilm Canada for $500,000!
Like most things, it has been a long and convoluted road but I am, along with lead producer Kate Kroll, executive producer Trish Dolman, Canadian distributor Game Theory Films and the rest of the team, are over the moon to be moving forward. This year, Telefilm received over 300 applications in the category of English-language feature films under $3m and only ~7% of those projects received funding.
Currently we’re in the Polishing & Packaging phase, working to close financing on the rest of our budget and attach cast.
